Mr Touchless Car Wash - Thomaston

This is a true Godsend for someone who lives through CT winters with the road salt. I don't have any opinion on the "automatic touchless car wash," as I only came for the self serve bays to do the wash myself (yes, it takes more time and effort, but it's more thorough cleaning). I HIGHLY recommend that you watch a few youtube videos on how "self serve car washes" work and see how exactly people direct you to use them as there isn't exactly someone here to show you. These "self serve washes" types are all similar, but you'll literally waste time (and money as well if you swiped your card right to start the timer) when you show up here at a bay and spend time reading signs when there's a line of cars behind you.

After watching a couple videos, you'll have realistic expectations and better understand on how to move quickly as the clock is ticking (it's roughly $1/min according to the owner). I also recommend you use a credit card rather than put money in, that way you don't have any unused time at the end that's wasted. Also when you're finished, remember to move the dial to STOP & hit the STOP button (so that your card will only be charged for the amount of time that you use)

I did not realize that the minutes kept adding up because I didn’t know how to stop it.
I ended up with a charge for 15 min. that I did not use.
I used quarters to wash the floor mats.

Absolutely love the ultimate wash. Does a great job quickly. Got the monthly pass and is worth every penny. Had a little trouble with the app but used the “text us” and immediately got it fixed.

Took my corvette through the automatic touchless wash. Water pressure was really good. Probably the best automatic touchless car wash in the area. Drying time was only like 40 seconds which seemed a little short but it did the job.
