This is a really nice recreational area in Bristol, Connecticut. It's near the Harry Barnes Nature Center which is a plus. They had ample parking when we went. There is a baseball field, pickleball/tennis/basketball courts, and picnic/green area.

We were there for the playground. It is pretty new, installed in 2024. I love the pirate theme. They had swings and playscapes for younger and older kids. There was a bench. The playground is not fenced in but there is a partial gate by the road. Overall, it is a lovely recreational area. My kids enjoyed the playground.

Beautiful, Clean and quiet! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this big rock with a nice little path along side of it. It lead me to a boardwalk that went through the woods almost the entire way! I forget the name of the place next door where you can enter this trail... But it's a nice starting point that's away from a busy parking lot over there. Very friendly people. SO tranquil and clean. It's nice to see people keeping a trail free from garbage. People seem to clean up after their dogs, a definite plus. My little dog and I absolutely had a great time here and have been back twice. I just moved to Bristol a couple of months ago and this is such a Gem! I'm so happy I found that boulder in the back area of the big field.. Lots of people play tennis here as well. The courts are beautiful too. There is a playground although I've never seen any kids there yet. That's unfortunate, they're probably all home playing video games. The world is a beautiful place, get them and yourselves out in Nature, even for just a half hour! I have a disability and walk Somewhere every day with my dog. If I can do it with Chronic Pain, you can Do it too. Get some fresh air and meet some nice people along the way... Prepare yourself if you do get on the boardwalk in the woods. It's an easy hour plus walk, for me anyway. But there are benches every so often which is GREAT!

We have been here many times for baseball and the large field is generally in good shape. There are six new pickleball courts along with tennis and a small playground for people to play on.
