My grandsons hair cut was magnificent. The vibe was nice. Service was great.
The name of the shop lives up to my review.. Five Stars! Yanc has been cutting my hair for years in Avenel, so it was a no brainer to follow him and the boys to their new location! I have been coming here since they opened and for anyone new looking to get a fresh cut, you can’t go wrong with any of these guys. While they do still allow walk-ins here, they now offer booking appointments in advance unlike their prior location, which was under different management. That was the one huge flaw of the previous spot. They ONLY allowed walk-ins. Now I can book my favorite barber at my own preferred time, instead of having to work my entire day around waiting to be called in next as a walk in. It was an extreme headache, I can’t thank these guys enough for that. I highly recommend the Five Star Experience option if you can’t make it to the shop often. Makes it very worth the trip over here. In addition to your normal haircut, you get shampoo and conditioner, as well as a facial detox and hot towel shave. It’s amazing. Can’t recommend these guys enough. I will continue to support their business for years to come. Thanks for all you do guys!
I recently booked an appointment with 5 star barber studio and from the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and laid-back, with a modern yet comfortable vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional — my barber, Jose, really took his time and the outcome was just what I was looking for. One of the best if not the best barbershop in Jersey!

I’ve been with these guys for over 10 years getting cut by Yanciel at their old location. They just had their grand opening and I’m happy for them! Here at the new spot they offer more services like hot towel, wash, and other skin treatments. They also added option to book an appointment ahead of time. Also they now offer a coffee bar as well! It seems like they are doing a lot more to add to the customer experience and I believe that will do very well for their business moving forward! Best of luck and here to support always!
