Ami Sushi & Bar

My 10 year old’s review:
The food was very great. The Godzilla Roll was very fresh, and the dipping sauce was delicious. My mom got the Shrek roll (green) which she really liked. The fried ice cream was very good. It was warm on the outside and cold in the inside. The servers, including Joyce, were very kind to us and helpful. They always asked if we were doing well and we always were.

Ami serves delicious and fresh sushi. I have ordered from Ami several times and they do not disappoint. They offer a great selection of platters which are always beautifully presented. They are definitely my go to for party platters especially since the guests always rave about the spread, portions and quality of the food.

The staff and owners are friendly and incredibly easy to work with. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

I had the pleasure of dining here with my partner while visiting from Canada. The quality of the food is excellent, and the staff treated us as if we were family from the get-go. I particularly enjoyed the sashimi platter, yellowfin tuna and uni. We both also absolutely loved the tuna over crispy rice as an appetizer. Highly recommend for delicious sushi, great drinks and warm, accommodating service.

We hosted our daughter’s confirmation dinner upstairs at Ami and our guests all had a wonderful time! The owner Melinda was so accommodating and helped me plan the dinner. The food is absolutely delicious and our guests really enjoyed the ambiance and food. Even our non-sushi eating friends loved the steak and chicken teriyaki dishes. The upstairs has been updated with a more upscale vibe than the original “tiki bar”. So it was perfect for our special occasion.

Everything on the menu looked so good, it was hard to decide! We ended up getting the tuna mango tartare, soft shell crab tempura, salmon skin salad, sashimi deluxe (with a miso soup), dynamite roll, and Shrek roll. Everything was delicious! The presentation was beautiful and the fish was fresh and clean tasting. We can't wait to come back to try the other menu items! We went on a Friday evening, and they had a DJ playing vinyls in the upstairs bar and lounge. They also have outdoor seating, and plenty of parking in the back.
