I ordered the lobster bisque soup and a non alcholic drink. My husband ordered the lobster roll. We ordered the brussel sprouts to share. The soup did not taste good and the lobster roll was tiny. We did not finish the brussel sprouts because they were bland. The bill came out to $100. Sorry, not worth it. 👎

Hudson Farmer and the Fish was such a lovely stop during our visit to Tarrytown! The food itself was fresh and flavorful, and the view from our outdoor table overlooking the Hudson River was absolutely stunning — you can even see Manhattan in the distance if you walk down the pier. I ordered the Squid Ink Linguine Vongole and it was really good — rich, briny, and beautifully cooked. My husband had the Hidden Fjord Scottish Salmon and liked it but wished for a little more on the plate. My mother-in-law got the clam pizza, which was tasty but could’ve used a touch more seasoning, while her husband really enjoyed the Farmers Double Stack Burger. The only thing keeping this from being a perfect five was the service — it was on the slower side, especially considering they weren’t very busy and it’s a bit over priced for what you get. Still, the setting more than made up for it. Sitting along the Hudson, just steps away from where riverboats once ferried goods and travelers during Tarrytown’s bustling 19th-century days, gave dinner a special kind of charm. It’s a wonderful spot to relax, take in the view, and enjoy a good meal.

What a great place for a solo Birthday Lunch. Came to town for the Headless Horseman shabang, and walked over to this wonderful restaurant. Food and beer were great. Waiting time was less then 10 minutes for a solo dinner without reservations. Lisette was the most mostest awesome server and the other staff, extremely attentive. I just wanted some good fish and chips. Boring perhaps, but check the pictures. They speak for themselves.

Beautiful view - the food and service were mediocre.
    The lobster roll was blah.
I really wanted to love this place —the menu looked promising and the atmosphere was inviting. Unfortunately, the experience just didn’t live up to expectations.

We started with the buffalo shrimp and a cu cu drink, both of which were very solid and a good start to the meal. Unfortunately, the mains were mostly disappointing. The burger, pizza, and skirt steak were all pretty underwhelming. The whole fish and fish and chips were better, more on the decent side. I was also hoping for a better table, since we were seated in the inner indoor room which felt a bit stuffy, especially with such a beautiful view outside. Service was okay, nothing special but nothing bad either. Overall, some hits and misses.
