Apple Montessori Schools & Camps - Shrewsbury

We enrolled our son at the newly opened Apple Montessori School (AMS) Shrewsbury location this past fall. Having previously attended the AMS Hoboken Maxwell Lane campus, where we had an outstanding experience, we were eager for him to continue with AMS after relocating to Middletown. Once we learned that the Shrewsbury campus was opening, we immediately took the opportunity.

From the very beginning, the Shrewsbury school has exceeded our expectations. The teachers are wonderful, the curriculum is exceptional, and the overall environment is warm, welcoming, and engaging. While we understood that a brand-new school with a new team would need time to settle in, we are amazed by how seamlessly everything has come together. Our son has been enrolled for almost three months, yet it already feels like he has been part of the community much longer.

He absolutely adores his teachers—Ms. Estornel, Ms. Littles, and Ms. Ro—as well as the Director, Ms. Angelou. He has made new friends, learns something new every day, and is always excited to complete his homework and bring it to school the next morning.

We cannot say enough about the Pre-K teachers, particularly Ms. Estornel and Ms. Littles, whose dedication and care have made a tremendous difference. The Director, Ms. Angelou, has been exceptional, and the staff consistently listens to and incorporates any feedback we share. The personalized attention our son receives—and the thoughtful updates and guidance we receive from the teachers—have been invaluable to his development. When additional support is needed, the Director of Education also steps in to provide helpful tips for both parents and teachers.

The tinkRworks program has been fantastic, and our son proudly shows us new skills he has learned, most recently in engineering. We look forward to enrolling him in additional language and sports programs as they become available.

Communication from the school is clear, timely, and engaging. The number of enriching academic and fun activities the school offers is truly impressive.

As we prepare to welcome another baby in the coming weeks, we’ve already reached out to ensure our newborn can join the AMS Shrewsbury infant program.

I've had a great experience at Apple Montessori with my 2.5yr old son in Ms. Estornell's PreK classroom. My son is always excited to go to school and comes home with so much joy and lots to share about what he's learned. I'm pleasantly surprised by all the information he retains and how much he's grown in the past two months. He's more independent, offers up to clean up on his own more, and loves to recite the months of the year song.
I'm also pleased with the communication from the administration, where I always feel like I know what's going on.

Apple Montessori has been a wonderful experience for our family. The staff provides a warm, caring environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. My child has developed new skills, independence, and confidence thanks to the engaging Montessori approach. Communication with the teachers is excellent, and it’s clear they truly value each child’s development. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing start to early education.

We started at Apple Montessori this past September. It was our 2 year old daughter's first experience with a school environment and she is absolutely loving it. She comes home with excited energy and wakes up in the morning rearing to go. Very happy with our decision to join the Apple Montessori community.

Our son’s first daycare experience was with Apple Montessori in Hoboken and we loved it - we were so sad to leave when we moved to Monmouth County and our other daycare experiences didn’t compare. I was so happy to see Apple Montessori open a Shrewsbury location, it felt like a dream come true. My son started at the beginning of October and our experience has been excellent so far! He is so excited to go to school everyday and tells me all the fun stuff he’s learning. I have peace of mind thanks to the cameras but also because I trust the Apple Montessori brand. Very excited to see this location grow and will be sending our second son here once my maternity leave is over. Highly recommend this location for any working parent who wants an excellent school/daycare for their kid or kids!
