My son, who is now 10 years old, has been taking guitar lessons with Chris for several years and we couldn't be happier. Chris is a very skilled and passionate musician & teacher who's approach and teaching style is genuine and effective. I am continuously amazed at the learning and progress my son has made and continues to make through Chris' Zoom based teaching platform. His high tech set up is seamless and more efficient than any instrumental lesson my older children ever took in person. It enables him to share and send materials in the moment, create end of lesson video recordings to save and use for independent practice and much more. When Chris is teaching you'd never know that he was not there right there in physical person with his student. From our very beginning Chris has been beyond helpful with all things guitar; from helping us pick my son's first acoustic guitar to then shopping for his first electric & amp to navigating strings and beyond. Chris is extremely talented, passionate about his work, resourceful, caring and he takes genuine interest in his clients. Hands down the best guitar teacher out there! Thank YOU Chris!!
I always dreamed of playing guitar but it never seemed practical. Chris changed all that. First he is just a truly gifted extraordinary musician who can play any kind of music. But more importantly he is so thoughtful, patient, and encouraging, gently guiding the student to build their abilities one step at a time and get impressive results quickly. I wasn't sure if Zoom would be a good way to do the lessons but it's been frankly way better than in person because no one has to travel and super importantly Chris enables the student to record a summary of the lesson at the end of the lesson so you can watch that at your convenience when you practice. It's a huge advantage. He's truly amazing, a great teacher, and a super nice guy too.
Chris is a very patient and experienced guitar player and more importantly, one who can teach. Not every guitar player can teach, but Chris breaks it down so you can actually learn while having fun. He's trustworthy and extremely down-to-earth, and listens to what you want to say and play. Highly recommended for anyone desiring to learn or perfect their style - from school age youngsters to older folks. If you are local and looking for the best instructor, look no further!!!!
I started taking lessons from Chris when I was 12, and he's taught me so much since then. Chris is very talented. He can learn any song I want to play and teach it note for note. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is interested in playing guitar.
Chris is a very talented guitar player and instructor. My daughter and son have both taken lessons from him. He is reliable, flexible, patient, friendly, encouraging and is always prepared to teach at each lesson. He has gone above and beyond for us on many occasions. He is an excellent resource, as well. I highly recommend him!!!
