From the very first day when I gave them a call to ask many questions about my move to Japan, they gave me a great relief about this biggest and most complicated move. "All will be OK. You can count on us.'' was their magical words. And their professional mindset was excelled in every part of their jobs. I am especially grateful for Mr. Makimoto , my contact who walked me through with this move, helped me to organize and prepare for the moving day. He is not only a very experienced and kind moving professional but also a great ''teacher''. He showed me on the day he brought boxes how to make paper cushions for china wares. Now I know how to pack anything fragile! His fantastic colleague, Mr. Tanaka, is very nice and such a good listener when I was explaining to him about my personal ''inventory numbering system'' in several boxes. He did exactly what I asked him to do and was very pleasant whenever I spoke to him.

I was told it will take a couple of hours to finish the move, but it took less than 2 hours. All was done extremely well and efficiently. I would like to recommend them highly.

These movers are the best movers I have ever seen, and that doesn’t even begin to explain the depth of their quality service. For me, moving is extremely stressful and anxiety inducing. As soon as they start working I felt 10 years younger, like a huge weight was lifted off of me. They are the most professional, efficient, fast, and safe movers you will find on this planet. We asked this wonderful team to pack and move our belongings to Japan. They were very pleasant, efficient, and totally exceeded my expectations. They estimated it will take 2 days to pack our belongings but they completed within 8 hours!! I highly recommend them to anyone who is moving!

By far the best mover we have ever used!
We have lived outside Japan for about 40 years and used several movers to ship our personal items between US states and across countries, including between the US and Japan. This time, we asked Art Van Lines twice, once to ship out stuff from New York to California and, second, to ship withing the latter state. As its staff has been trained as professional movers in the headquarters in Japan, they treated every furniture very gentry, they wrapped fragile glasses and china with papers very skillfully, and they packed everything into cardboard boxes very neatly. As a result, nothing was damaged in the two moves. At the same time, the pick-ups and deliveries were on time without exceptions.
Our experinces with some American moving companies were completely oppositive; our furniutres and pictures were damaged, the delivery was 2 weeks late at one time and the movers we used for local shipment asked outraguous amount of tips, $100 per person (of course, we refused to pay that much!).
Art is, by far, the best mover among the moving comapies we used in the past 40 years. Its quality of services, professioanlism and punctuarity are second to none. I highly recommend Art Van Lines for both local and long distance shipments.
