Brittany the bartender in Howell was absolutely amazing! She was attentive, drinks were delicious and answered every question we asked. I cannot wait to come back and be served by her again!

Ok.... Where to start? First. This is an "ale house." Beer selection was ok. Some variety of style, but not really what you'd expect from an Ale House. Our server had zero knowledge about the beers.

I ordered a flight ($15!) and the bar substituted one of the beers with another without telling me until I questioned them. I had ordered a porter and they gave me a cherry beer from the same brewery. I would have liked to know before they chose for me.

Food was not bad. I had miso salmon ($28) that was good. Wife ordered a salad that was delivered with no dressing. Our waitress was nowhere to be found to correct the issue. Son got fish and chips - $26!

You pay here at the table by card swipe with the waiter standing over you. Minimum tip option on the machine was 20%.

All in all, not the worst, but honestly, just another restaurant that serves beer. Prices are extreme. Meh.

It was great visiting AAH in Howell. Love that such a cool place came to Howell. Great food, cool seasonal drinks, and good atmosphere.
Frank was our waiter and knows his stuff and made it a nicer and easy going night out where we felt we were well taken care of.

Went for the first time last night with my boyfriend. It was a bit packed but got greeted immediately & seated within 5 minutes. The food & our server were great we’d definitely return

AAH was pretty much what we expected. Food was ok, but very salty. That makes sense as I’m sure they want you to drink more.
    Apps were ok.
My BLT was very soggy and fell apart on the first bite.
My husband’s steak sandwich was good but very salty.
Vibe is good and I can see it being a fun place to gather at the bar with friends or to watch the games.
We were going to give it a second chance until the bill came.
Our server ran our card at the table and said “I’m not going to judge you but keep in mind I wasn’t supposed to work today” (ok??)
Then he proceeded to tell us that his coworker started projectile vomiting as they tried to leave for work that morning…
That is so gross and it’s one - never going to get you the larger tip that you implied and two - no thanks. We are all set. Won’t be going back.
Wishing you all the best in this location.
