Ordered online — their food is delicious and very well priced! I got a tuna sandwich and was able to turn it into a tuna wrap and customize all the fillings. It came out amazing. Their açaí bowls are fantastic too!
Food was fresh and service was excellent. Tons of seating inside and outdoors (in a heated porch area)
Highly recommended.
I had the sesame stick avocado sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly crispy on the outside, fresh and creamy on the inside — every bite was amazing. The quality of the ingredients really stood out. On top of that, the service was excellent: friendly, fast, and professional. Highly recommended for a tasty and satisfying breakfast!

I recently went to lunch at Avocado Café in Lakewood, NJ. It is located in Seagull Square. I have heard a lot about the place, but have never been. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at the open and modern design of the cafe. After browsing their menu, we settled on two dishes, two sides and two drinks. We are very well versed with Shaksuka. We have tasted it in many a restaurant, whether in a cast iron skillet or hot pan. However, we have never seen a Shakshuka Sandwich. We ordered it in a baguette (we were asked if we wanted whole wheat) and it was very unique. You see, usually you dip your sourdough INTO the shakshuka. Now you were eating it INSIDE the bread. It was really good, warm, and actually less messy than the actual dish. Really surprising. Naturally, I ordered an Avocado Toast on sourdough. They had four different types, one even with mango. Mine was the sunny side up avocado toast with guacamole, alfalfa sprouts, cherry tomatoes, pesto and lemon herb aioli. It was really good. It was a nice, thick piece of sour dough, slathered with guacamole and all of the toppings. It was also really filling. They have some really unique and different sides at Avocado café so we decided to try two. First was the Macaroni & Cheese Balls, made fresh in house. After cutting one open, I dipped it into the marinara sauce and took a bite. The outside was crispy and not too thick, while the inside had the perfect amount of cheese without being overwhelming. It was the perfect bite. For the second, I went with the Tater Tots Sticks, which is double cooked hashed brown sticks served with a lemon herb aioli. These were amazing. I was also told they were potatoes without the addition of any eggs. They were nice and thick “sticks’ or like French fry wedges, but had the perfect texture inside and amazingly crunchy outside. Add to that the aioli dip and it was the perfect side. For drinks they have many options including healthy ones. My wife went with a refresher and as for me I had the Belgian Hot Chocolate. It’s made with real chocolate and is extremely sweet, just the way I like it. They also have an amazing selection of ready to go options including sandwiches, fruit cups, yogurt etc. and some amazing pastries. We grabbed one on the way out. If you haven’t been yet, check out Avocado café and tell them Yossi Sent You.
