Barnegat Funeral Home was recommended to my sister and I by my Father's Hospice Nurse. Bob was very patient with us while we grieved and planned our Father's services. The room was beautiful and had plenty of capacity for family and friends. The staff was accommodating to the whims of my young children and their cousins on a tough day. Five Stars and many thanks for kindness and professionalism.
Barnegat Funeral Home is the only place I will recommend. We have used the same funeral home in my family for years but after unexpectedly losing my brother I wanted to have it closer to our home town. During my search Bob at Barnegat Funeral Home was the only one to take the time to really explain the process and help me through navigating it. He wrote it. Repeated it. And he was sensitive to our brains not working or being able to process this loss while attempting to make arrangements with him. He made time away from his family on a holiday weekend to meet us and accomodated all our needs. Late night calls. Repeated questions. With so much patience. His empasthism and his staffs empasthism was extremely consoling and heart warming. The funeral home is beautiful. The way the light comes into the rooms makes it so brightening for a last goodbye. I really can't say enough great things about this place and the staff. Thank you to them for everything and more and helping us through our loss. ❤️
Bob was very helpful with the process when my Father passed away. He was compassionate and helped with several of the details. He even provided a list of things we would need to follow-up with afterwards, including phone numbers in some cases, to get us started. It took away some of the anxiety of the unknown.
At the service Bob shared some very comforting words, which helped with our grief. We are very happy that we chose Barnegat Funeral Home for our Father.
