Bharat Sevashram Sangha in Kendall Park, NJ is an awesome spot if you’re looking for a chill spiritual vibe and good community feel. The temple itself is really peaceful and you can instantly sense the calm when you step inside. It’s spacious, super clean, and you’ll spot idols of different deities all in one beautiful hall, which gives it a unique and welcoming touch.

During big events like Durga Puja or Kali Puja, the energy is next-level—lots of devotion, amazing vibes, and everyone coming together. Things can get pretty busy, but the community and staff do a great job keeping everything organized and fun without making you feel overwhelmed. Parking near the ashram can be limited, but there are helpful arrangements during festivals.

What makes this place stand out is that donations aren’t forced and everyone is genuinely welcoming, so you really feel invited as part of the group each time. If you’re nearby or just passing through, Bharat Sevashram Sangha is totally worth checking out for a peaceful break or a dose of festive spirit.

Bharat Sevashram Sangha in North Brunswick is a tranquil retreat dedicated to spiritual and community wellness. The serene ambiance and welcoming atmosphere make it a haven for seekers of inner peace.

I had the pleasure of attending a meditation session here, and it was a truly enlightening experience. The teachings and practices offered by the Sangha are rooted in ancient wisdom, delivered with clarity and warmth.

The volunteers and staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, eager to assist visitors on their spiritual journeys. The temple grounds are well-maintained and exude a sense of calmness.

Whether you're looking to participate in yoga classes, attend spiritual discourses, or simply meditate in a peaceful setting, Bharat Sevashram Sangha is an excellent destination.

Excellent place to visit during the Durga Puja where rituals are performed as per the actual time table (unlike other Durga Puja celebrations where they want to conclude 5 days of Puja in a weekend).

A very unassuming religious place right from the outset. We have crossed this temple couple of times not even knowing it was a religious place. Thanks to one of our relatives who pointed us to this temple.

This Hindu temple has deities in the forms worshipped in the eastern part of India - Kolkata. They deities look so beautiful to the eyes and wonderfully adorned in silk clothing. The temple has a large hall and at the farther end of it has the deities lined up from left to right. The priest warmly welcomed us and invited us to visit in the future again.

They have a decent parking space and mandates mask-wearing. I’m not sure if this place is handicap-friendly as there are few stairs in order to climb to the ground level.

    quite serene and peaceful ...

we always visit this temple in Durga Puja or Kali Pujo. this is Bengali temple and it has its branches all over India. big hall room having all god's idols ( Ram Ji-Sita Ji-Laxman Ji-Hanuman Ji-Vishnu Ji-Laxmi Ji-Krishna-Radha-Shankar Ji-Parvati Ji-Kali maa-Saraswati maa-Ganesh Ji-Durga Maa. quite peaceful and pious environment. its gets crowded in Durga Puja and getting parking is really difficult thought management arranges to park nearby. In the basement, activities take place. They have their website where activities list are placed and they are very punctual about timings of Puja.
Unlike other Pujas in NJ, they don't force you to make a donation ( though we do our part whenever we visit).

if you are in a nearby area, you should consider coming to this temple once. we love to keep coming here
