The place is hard to find but cute once you arrive. The place is super small and cozy but it's cute enough for children. There's nowhere to sit inside but there is a bench outside out front. They have quite a few flavors and they sell their spoons that change colors when cold. Prices are good too and plenty of toppings to choose from.
Good ice cream shop with some classic flavors. Texture was good, but not exceptional. Friendly staff and a clean shop. No inside sitting arrangement. Worth a try if you're in the area, but not a must-visit.
They have great service and an amazing location. It is a very cute store right in the heart of town. A small business like this is exactly what Mendham needs and I love to see how crowded it gets after school. For a while, Mendham sorely was missing a family-owned ice cream shop like this one.
The reason I bump it down may mostly be due to my personal preference and in fairness to the other local shops that serve homemade ice cream. I wish the ice cream was a bit creamier and that it was homemade by them. The ice cream is still GOOD and I definitely enjoy it in the summer. It seems they import it from the The Hershey Creamery Company ice cream which does have wholesome ingredients, it is just not as fresh and creamy as it could be if it was technically homemade by them.

I need to be fair in comparison to other places. Hence my 3 stars. There are 24 different flavors so it is not a small number. But comparing to other American style ice cream shops who offer double this amount I can understand some reviewers. While the consistency of the ice cream is what it should be for an American one, the ice cream is a bit heavy and way too sweet. I still don't get why people want to eat artificial things from colors to flavours... I tried the dark chocolate with raspberry truffle. It felt like the raspberries were frozen ones and some flavors are artificial. The other one I tried is the brown butter with truffles and while it had more natural taste it was sweeter and heavier than the chocolate one. The portions are big and the staff is very friendly.
