We just left Black Moon in Hillsborough and couldn’t be happier! I took my daughter to see John last year for a belly button piercing and today for her nose piercing. He took his time explaining everything to her and made sure he picked the perfect placement for the piercing again. He even swapped out her post on her belly button because he is a perfectionist!
If you want perfection and precision be sure to make an appointment with John on a Sunday- you will be in great hands!

My daughter had her nose pierced at Black Moon in Hillsboro. The place was spacious, bright and absolutely spotless.
Also, we can’t say enough good things about Max. He was very professional and made us both feel comfortable. He had us in and out in 15-20 minutes without making us feel rushed. I’d definitely recommend Max and Black Moon.

Last week, I went to see Sami for a mid-helix piercing. I was a little nervous as I'd only had my lobes pierced until then, but she made me feel so comfortable and talked me through every step of the way so I knew exactly what to expect. She didn't rush me when I was choosing the jewelry and encouraged me to take my time in holding the pieces up to my ear. She offered great advice and gave me her contact information so that I could reach her at any time. I haven't had to because she did such a great job and gave me thorough instructions for the post-piercing care, but it's comforting to know that I can reach her when I need to.

Two years ago, I had come to this location to see Brie for multiple lobe piercings, and I similarly had a great experience with her. (She has since relocated out of state!) It's clear that Black Moon employs professionals who are passionate about their work.

I look forward to going back to Sami for future piercings!

I went here today to have stacked lobe piercings done. Sami, the piercer, and the apprentice Ryan, were super friendly and knowledgeable. Sami helped me figure out the layout and picked two beautiful pieces of jewelry. She explained the process step by step. I am in love with my piercing and I can’t wait to go back and get my other ear done.
