I just love this charming shop and its wonderful selection of beautiful, unique pieces. I think they have a large selection of items, especially for a relatively small sized store,. The owners are delightful people, salt of the earth and so easy to work with. Had to return a furniture piece that unfortunately was just too large for my space and no questions asked -the return was so easy- try getting that level of customer service at PB or RH. I love their little dog, too.
My collection of British Cottage furniture, including a desk, coffee table, dining room table, bedroom set and bookshelf, has been in multiple homes, from NYC apartments to a Seattle house and it always looks classic and elegant. Throughout numerous moves, each of the pieces have held up perfectly. Although we acquired the pieces at different times, and each one has its own character, they are well coordinated and we couldn't be happier with the overall look. I might be biased, but the delivery (if you're local) is also stellar. For those of us living further away though, they can arrange shipping!
My husband and I have been shopping at British Cottage for at least 15 years. Through new houses, our expanding family and home renovations. It feels like Tricia, Keith and British Cottage have been on our family’s journey with us! They have impeccable taste. Their shop is beautiful and filled with quality pieces of furniture, art, and home decor. A very large portion of their inventory is available to purchase right off the floor. It’s hard to walk in and NOT leave with something new that I know will stand the test of time. My husband and I are obsessed with British Cottage's rustic, solid wood, gorgeous furniture. We visit the store probably, once a week. The owners have a great eye for beautiful pieces that they bring in from around the world. New, one-of-a-kind, pieces come in all the time. It's like a museum that you can buy from.
