I have researched and visited several assisted living facilities, and I have found Brookdale Senior Living in Florence, NJ to be among the very best. The facility is consistently clean and welcoming, and unlike many others, it never has unpleasant odors.
The staff is truly exceptional. They continually strive to improve the living experience for their residents and treat both clients and families with genuine care and respect. When my uncle needed palliative and hospice care, Ivahna Hadden, the nurse, personally called me and helped guide me through the entire process, making a difficult time much easier for our family.
Sara Thompson, the event coordinator, went above and beyond by organizing two very special events for my uncle. She first coordinated a dinner with the American Legion so he could reconnect with local veterans. Later, she arranged a meaningful recognition ceremony with a state official to honor my uncle’s service as both a veteran and a public servant.
What truly sets Brookdale Senior Living in Florence apart is that they didn’t just care for my uncle — they embraced our family as their own. For that, we will always be grateful.

My dear Aunt Midge has had an amazing transformation since she moved into the community. She's able to do all the things she used to love to do - cooking, crafts, and mainly socializing. It has improved her health by leaps and bounds. This is the Aunt Midge I grew up with and I can't thank you enough!

Brookdale at Florence is a wonderful assisted living community in Burlington County, NJ. Our mom has been a resident for over a year, and we know we made the right choice moving her there. From the moment we walked in for our first look, it felt so homey. The staff is very friendly and takes great care of the residents. The facility is bright and clean, and always decorated for upcoming events and holidays. There are many activities for the residents to participate in, and you can see the smiles on their faces as they join in. The entire staff is the best, and has become like family to us. They work closely with residents and families to make living there feel like (to quote our mom) “ home away from home”.

My father has been a resident at Brookdale Florence for a year now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From day one, the staff has been compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to his well-being. My father receives excellent care, and most importantly, he feels safe, respected, and valued.

The team here is remarkable. They treat residents like family and consistently go above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming environment. The Director leads with genuine care and professionalism, and it shows in every aspect of the Community. The Resident Engagement Director has been amazing at encouraging my father to get out, stay active, and enjoy social events. The Health and Wellness Team is always willing to answer questions and offer thoughtful solutions. The Associates in the dining room, the Janitorial Staff, and the Environmental Coordinator are all kind and caring. The Sales Coordinator continues to provide support and guidance, which has been greatly appreciated. I cannot say enough about his Caregiver, who is the epitome of compassion and goes above and beyond every single day.

Knowing my father is surrounded by such wonderful people brings me tremendous peace of mind. I’m deeply grateful to everyone at Brookdale Florence for the kindness and dedication they show each day in making Brookdale feel like home.
