Went here for 8 years. The best experience I had with Martial Arts
Our daughter has been learning Taekwondo here since 2015. Mr. Crocco is a wonderful teacher. He has inculcated great values & principles and treats it much more than a mere physical activity or martial art. Our son has joined the academy recently, inspired by his sister and the classes he has observed. Highly recommended.

We had tried another martial arts school and it didn’t go very well. This place has been great with the kids. Mr. Crocco works very well with one of my kids who has special needs. Very accommodating and explains the stuff well.
This is by far the best dojo in Central NJ! I am so incredibly impressed with Sensei Michael Crocco. He strikes exactly the right balance between rigor/discipline and being welcoming and fun. My kids love it here! About me: I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, earned at YB Choi's in New Brunswick, the grand daddy of all karate dojos in central NJ. I have also trained in Aikido and Kyokushin Karate in the past, so am very familiar with the dojo atmosphere and culture, as well as adult vs kid classes. My two kids are 8 and 5. My elder one is very shy and quiet, the younger is more social. We tried other dojos with the two of them. It never worked out. Being exacting myself, some of the instructors didn't impress me. Other places seemed to factory-esque and pushy to sign you up. Some of them were all about MMA, which makes no sense for kids my age. I heard about Mike Croccos place from a friend whose kids go here. Within 2 classes I was absolutely sold. This is the real deal guys. BOTH my kids loved it from day one. Pretty much every single class is taught by Master Crocco; his wife, Ruhina (sp?) is also an instructor and is great. Michael is super plugged in with the local community and he teaches the kids to be respectful, confident, good citizens. Seriously guys, don't sign up elsewhere until you've been here first. Keep up the great work Master Crocco!
