C & L Auto Body of Plainfield

C & L Auto Body Shop repaired my vehicle after two accidents. It took them some time to gather the necessary supplies, but they completed the job. However, I wouldn't say it was without issues. I was disappointed by the way I was treated by one of the receptionists; I understand everyone has their problems, but being rude, short, or passive when someone is simply seeking answers isn't professional, even if they’ve had a bad experience. I wasn't rude to them, but I did get frustrated with the long wait to get my car back. Annie Marie did her best to handle the situation, and I give her a 10/10 for service.

As for the negligence of some staff members, it's wise to protect yourself—take your own photos before and after the work, and keep documentation. I encountered a few issues, such as a scratch on my front bumper and a metal slide plate on my trunk that wasn't properly adhered, causing it to fall off. I didn't bother going back because I feel like I would be pushed to the side and ignore.

Overall, C & L Auto isn't a bad place; they will get the job done. Still, it’s a business, so it's important to cover your own bases. I'm not entirely happy with the experience, but I’m grateful they worked with me through my unique situation. Don’t be nervous to give them a try.

This is a fantastic place. They are very punctual and professional. They keep in contact with you with every step in the process of your vehicle. And yes... They do fantastic work. Highly recommended.

I brought my car to C&L Auto Body to have the front bumper fixed. The receptionist and estimator were very helpful throughout the time my car was in the shop. I really liked the texting feature—they kept me updated on the progress, which was super convenient. Picking up my car was quick and easy. It was washed, cleaned inside, and returned to me looking like nothing ever happened. They did an excellent job!

The ladies in the front n back offices are on point • friendly • courteous & knowledgeable ...

From moment I touched based with C&L about my Honda Civic being in an accident (new windshield * new hood * new front corner panel * new grill * new lower guard) ~ they assured me that my car will be repaired properly and promptly ~ I was informed (via text) about the progress of the repairs and even took care of my rental at the end ...

I do have to say that when going over the cars repairs ~ I brought to the attention of the C&L employee that I wasn't happy because there were some bubbles in the paint ...

RIGHT•A•WAY a Supervisor was brought out ~ she was told of my concerns and immediately my issues were discussed and rectified ...

EXPLANATION N RECTIFICATION ... : dust particles got trapped into the paint when being applied ... buffed out areas and reapplied shine coat n was on our way ...

I had not been in a car accident in a while and was hesitant to find a place i could trust with my fairly new car. I choose this auto body from a list provided by my car insurance company and i’m glad i did.
John and Annmarie kept me posted throughout the process.
My car came back looking brand new. I will definantly recommend this auto body to my friends and family.
