Bought a car from carvana and drove it over to Todd for inspection. Not only did he have the car inspected within the hour, he said thank you for being a customer for all these years an enjoy the car. Didn’t charge me. We have been using scotch plains auto care for many years now and Many cars later, will continue to use Todd and scotch plains auto care.

I called Todd today asking if he could help me with a non-mechanical issue that I could not fix as I do not have my tools. Todd said “sure, come on in and I will see what I can do.”

When I showed up Todd stopped what he was doing and took the time to help me with my non-mechanical issue. It took about ten minutes and Todd was very nice throughout the whole process; he did not complain, or moan about me asking for his time nor his help.

Very few people, let alone mechanics I have met would’ve taken their time to help me. I appreciate Todd and were I sticking around the area, I would definitely take my vehicles to Todd just based upon his willingness to help, and his friendly demeanor and attitude.

I would not recommend any other mechanic. I’ve been going to Todd for 20+ years and he has always done right by me. I’ve gone in and told him I think I need a new expensive part and he’d call back and say all it was a fuse. That kind of honesty is a rare find. Excellent work at reasonable prices. Five Star Review

I do work on my own cars but have used Scotch Plains Auto for over 8 years beginning at their prior location for jobs that are over the top in labor or over my head in complexity. Every time, they have been smooth, clean, and efficient. As a customer I'm also reasonable and understanding. I enjoy the personality of the owner and his team, and really appreciate their expertise, solving issues on my vehicles that I couldn't figure out. I've had a timing belt replaced, coolant hoses replaced, and a very annoying valve located at the top of a gas tank replaced in another vehicle. Excellent work!

I have been going to Scotch Plains Auto Care, LLC for about 7, maybe 8 years now and the service that is always provided is exceptional! Todd is such a warm and friendly individual along with the rest of his staff! Gets the job 110% each time and always gets me back on the road ASAP! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to get your cars checked out there whether its a standard oil change, or your car is not running at all. They are the ones who will get the job done right each time!
