Dr. Cacciola is a straightforward, no-nonsense primary care physician who puts honesty and patient well-being above quick fixes. If you’re looking for someone who will tell you what you need to hear rather than simply handing out medications, this is the doctor for you. He takes the time to explain what’s really going on and focuses on your long-term health, even when the truth isn’t the easiest to hear. A rare and refreshing approach to primary care.
I’ve tried several endocrinologists and none are as thorough as Dr. Cacciola (who is an internist). He does not sugar coat things. In my opinion, the honesty and expertise matter more than anything else if you truly want to be a healthier person. That being said, I don’t always agree with his opinions on certain things, but I still listen to everything he has to say as he is the doctor and I am not. At the end of the day, you make your own decisions, but he gives a very thorough check up like no other doctor.
I have been seeing Dr. Cacciola for quite a few years. I am always pleased that he looks at natural remedies and dietary or lifestyle changes first. His staff is also friendly and I cannot mention enough how often Diane had to assist with different insurance companies and other issues. She is pleasant, no matter how busy, as well as efficient. Thank you for years of wonderful service.
I’m very sad to see the negative reviews for Dr. Cacciola. I can only speak from my experience and here it is. From the minute I met Dr. Cacciola, he was very clear about the importance of natural approaches to health such as adequate amounts of vitamin d and sleep. When I told him my history, he instantly prescribed a blood test. He started me off low on the medication I needed and not once did he mention a higher dose without blood work to confirm it was necessary. He has been diligent every 3 months testing to make sure my levels were normal, but more importantly listening to my symptoms and concerns. I trust his medical advice soundly.
