BEST Peruvian Restaurant in NJ. If you want to try Peruvian food or missing a taste of home, this is the spot!
We had the passion fruit pisco sours, leche de tigre carretillera, jalea, causa de cangrejo, and maracuya mousse. Everything was excellent. The presentation is also very good - I can’t recommend this place enough.
Stopped by here for a late dinner around 8ish on a Friday night. We were greeted upon entering and were seated shortly after inside at a booth. The booth seats are low in comparison to the table but it was fine just felt awkward at first.
Wait staff was great. Very friendly and attentive. They had to give me a charged iPad once I noticed mine was dead. I liked that the wait staff worked together as a team so they helped one another and it didn’t feel like we had to look for one specific person.
Drinks were strong and tasty so worth the price. The presentation of the food was awesome. The portion was perfect for two people and we even had leftovers. Food tasted fresh and the sauces were delicious.
I visited Ceviche 517 with my family recently and we had a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious and felt very authentic. As the name suggests, the Ceviche was fresh and flavorful—definitely a highlight. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. It’s a great spot for a family meal. We will definitely be coming back soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
New spot for me! Had a great time! Service was excellent- Aleson was friendly and attentive. Food was yummy and the vibe was great.
So the food was delicious. The different ceviches and the combate were the best. The drinks however were a bit too strong. I don’t think I have ever said that before. We had to ask for some way to water them down. The waitress spilled my daughter’s beverage on her. So that was not pleasant either. Their chicken wings were delicious but they ran out before we could order more.
Maybe we went too late but the music was loud and the bar crowd were lots of men and 2 couples that kept making out. In the future we might come for lunch or order to go instead.
