Great Barn we love the lessons Amelia is amazing with the children
Where can i begin!! Chester Riding Club has something unique to offer other then the obvious, incredible horses, the stuff offer top-notch services, safety and knowledge, and willing to teach the next generation of equestrians.
Now i will share our humble story, my Daughter Angelina has been riding for almost a year at Chester Riding Club and her growth has been incredible, after spending 3 years on a different barn today i can tell the difference in her riding style and general knowledge about horses.
Now my personal experience, i took a lesson with the Owner, Jamie Mallet, my first time back on the saddle after 30 years, obviously im not a Olympian by no means but Jamie made sure the i felt like one.if you looking for a nice place to saddle up give them call you will not regretted, i personally warranty a incredible experience.
Thank you Jamie
Sincerely
Ed
We moved to Chester Riding Club about 8 months ago and have really enjoyed our experience so far. It is a family friendly barn with great horses and instructors. We have already made some good friends too. I'm a father and I take lessons at the same time, or sequentially (if I want more focused teaching) with my two sons who also love riding. Both flat and jumping lessons are great, and my riding has definitely improved a lot since I started here. This isn't just because the teachers are great. It's the horses too. I'm not used to having such high quality school horses, they respond well to the leg and they are good jumpers. CRC has both indoor and outdoor rings, with excellent footing and Jamie, the owner is very approachable and also a top instructor. One additional bonus, for someone like me who has started to value creature comforts, is that the tacking up area attached to the barn and ring is HEATED. There is nothing better than getting into the ring during a cold winter morning with warm toes and fingers, and then being to untack in the same heated barn. I hope to ride here for many years to come.
Not sure why my review did not go through the first time but let's try this again! Great place but with all great places, it's the instructors that make this one worth going to. Very laid back atmosphere, the instructors are great with all age groups. I talked to many other riders who always have the same kind of attitude; "How many years have I been riding? Well, the only ones that count are the ones I did here." That's the level of instruction you get. Highly recommend.
I was really nervous starting lessons again, after not riding for about 10 years. But, I felt that my experience today was absolutely wonderful. Julia was really fantastic at giving reminders on proper body mechanics on horseback, and she was a genuinely positive person. I left feeling confident, accomplished, and happy with my decision to begin riding again. Of course, the horse I rode today Mirage was absolutely wonderful as well! Can't wait for my next lesson!
