I simply cannot say enough good things about the service I received at Skylands Car Audio, specifically from a wonderful young man named Matthew.
I was in a truly desperate situation: a whole gallon of paint had spilled all over my car. It was a complete disaster and a terrible time of need.
However, even though dealing with spilled paint is absolutely not part of his job, and it's not a service the business offers, Matthew stepped up. He took over 40 minutes out of his day to help my friend and me clean up the mess, and he did it all with a genuine smile and was clearly extremely happy to help!
He worked thoroughly and diligently with us to get the paint off the car. What makes his kindness truly remarkable is that he did all of this out of the goodness of his heart and did not ask me for a dime for his time or effort. His act of compassion and willingness to help a customer in distress was absolutely incredible, especially when others wouldn't. I am so grateful for his time and effort.

I recently had an audio upgrade and dash cam installation completed on my 2003 Volkswagen Passat (which is notorious for being difficult to work with), and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Matthew and Mike replaced my old speakers with new Alpine speakers, and the improvement in sound quality is outstanding — crisp highs, balanced mids, and deep, clean bass.

The dash cam installation was also done flawlessly. The wiring is completely hidden, the placement is precise, and everything looks factory-installed. I appreciated the attention to detail, the clear communication throughout the process, and Matthew and Mike taking care of my vehicle like it’s their own.

My family and I have been bringing our cars to Skyland's Audio for a couple years now, and we’ve had a great and personal experience every time. Their work is top notch, the turnaround is speedy, and they remember us like we're a friend every time we come in. Prior to this experience we've brought our cars in to have the windows tinted. This time, I purchased a set of running boards for my vehicle for medical reasons but wanted something that was not only stylish and would stand out but also practical. These automatically retract 4” when you enter and exit the car. It has a single strip glow effect LED lighting for visibility and added safety. This is especially important because my aunt has a hard time seeing. As far as safety, these running boards have a ridged, anti-slip surface design ensures a sturdy grip, with an integrated safety sensor to detect obstructions.

Where other places would have said they wouldn't do it because these running boards are way more than they want to deal with, Mike at Skylands immediately said they would take care of it no problem. It was a bit touch and go, but Skylands took on the challenge and made my dream come true!!! These running boards look phenomenal!!

Mike is a true professional, he ran into an issue with the install of an alarm on my car (not his fault). It was an issue with the firmware in the unit. He troubleshot and worked with tech support to solve the problem in a timely manner and would not give up until it was functioning properly! Thanks again!

Mike recently replaced my radio in my Jeep Wrangler since the old one stopped working. Services were quick and reliable. He also took the time out to show how the new radio worked. Very professional and highly recommend. Thank you again
