Hello,
I attended the Chinese Church Children's Holiday last Saturday at Care One. I was truly impressed and professional by all theparents in attendance.
The children were mostly 3 & 4th graders and all were mild-mannered and respectful. The pianist was super talented and the conductor and all the performers were extremely talented incredible, and amazing.

This church is mostly filled with warm and welcoming people, creating a wonderful sense of fellowship.
However, my experience was somewhat marred by an incident with one of the members, which I feel I need to highlight. I was told that my choice of wearing flip-flops to church was inappropriate. This seemed slightly judgmental and less than accepting, which was in stark contrast to the overall accepting atmosphere of the church. It made me uncomfortable and somewhat unwelcome.
To me, church is a place for everyone, irrespective of their choice of attire. Comfort in one's attire, especially after a tiring work week, can help foster a more relaxed and receptive atmosphere, better facilitating focus on one's spiritual journey. I believe we should focus more on one's character and less on their outward appearance.
Despite this minor hiccup, I still consider this church to be a warm and friendly place where you can connect with God and fellow believers.
Such a great and welcoming church, and family community. People of all ages, from newborns to high school students, to college students, to young adults and parents all can be found here. Especially great for the Chinese international students!
