This is the 2nd time I have called upon Carl to do some electrical panel work at my home. He is very knowledgeable, a professional, and someone i can count on to get the job done right. Initially during covid, my home lost power for ~10days, so I had him come out to assess installing an interlock with 30amp receptacle. I intially wanted a 50amp because it's what my generator was rated for, but he explained their was no real for what I was using the generator for. I also had him update my electrical panel as well. He did a superb job, and circuit traced all breakers as well. Second time around, I needed him to rewire my panel for a a solar battery back up bank I had installed, and just "clean up" my panel, and he did just that. He is definitely my electrical go to guy when I need the job done when I cant do it. I can do some light work, but if I know I can't, or got some heavy lifting to do, I call Carl. Need something done, just give him a call and tell him what you have in mind, and I'm confident he will deliver! And of course, in my opinion he is reasonably priced for work done, especially if compared to a "brand name" electrician. The "How much did you pay?" Section is a total of both jobs he performed. Called Carl out for issue with electric panel being full and undersized. Within 2 days he had upgraded my service from 60 amp to 200 amp and replaced my entire panel. Highly recommend, great prices, quality work!
I called CJM Electric 2 years ago and had them complete a job on a home my family had just purchased. There appeared to be an issue with the wire and so I reached out this week (2 years later) - within an hour or two of my email I received a phone call from CJM. An hour or so after that, Carl was at the house making repairs. It was hot and late in the afternoon - certainly past the end of a normal workday. Carl got it done and didn’t charge a dime to make the repair.
In my experience, it’s when troubles arise that we see the true values of a company (or a person.) Carl has a strong work ethic. One of the few with integrity.
