Ryan and his crew rebuilt the engine on my 88 Vanagon. The Van runs like a dream, It was sitting in the show over the winter, it started up on the first turn. I drove it over 350 miles to Vermont. No issues. Thank you Ryan and your team.
“Coastal Classics” got my 1973 Triumph TR-6 back on the road!!!!
I purchased the car new and after 51 years just about every seal and gasket leaked or was dry rotted. I could not find any shop to take on any work for a 51-year-old car “let alone a British car”. The rear differential and transmission had to be removed and rebuilt. Had intake manifold replaced and all new gaskets on the engine replaced. Some parts had to be imported from England. After several months the car runs great. With a new exhaust system sounds like it did 50 years ago. I was kept up to date with over 100 pic’s as work was done.
Very professional!
Thank you, Ryan and your skilled staff.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ryan, Saraphin, and the crew at Coastal Classics for over two years now.
Several years ago I began a restoration project of a 1967 Mustang Fastback, with the hopes of turning it into a Shelby clone. This car use to belong to my father, but spent over 30 years rusting and gathering dust in a detached garage. It was in rough shape. I did a lot of the work myself, but there were parts of the restoration that I was not familiar with how to do, or just uncomfortable trying to do them on my own. Ryan came to my house with several members of the Coastal Classics crew. They inspected the vehicle and then took it underwing to help me finish my build. They provided me excellent advice and helped guide me to complete the build.
The work they performed is exemplary. From paint, to drivetrain, to custom fabrication, The whole team at Coastal Classics is extremely skilled and you can tell they absolutely love to do their jobs. I had the pleasure to talk on several occasions to them as I visited and checked on the progress of my car, which was in and out of the shop as I completed a lot of the work myself. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable, and a joy to talk to.
Ryan truly cares about his customers as well. During my restoration, my father got sick and was diagnosed with cancer. One of the things that my father and I really bonded over was this car. Right before my father passed Ryan and the crew finished painting the car. My father was too weak to visit the shop, so Ryan offered to load up the car and drive it to my parent's house for him to see. Sadly he became too weak and passed before this became a reality. However this kind gesture, I believe, is a testament to Ryan's true character. Thank you for that Ryan, that made a big impact on me.
In conclusion, Coastal Classics has been a joy to work with. Your mind will be put to ease knowing that Ryan and his crew will take the best of care with your car or truck restoration as possible. I wouldn't take my fastback anywhere else.
I have attached some photos of my car below to validate my claims above. Good luck with all of your restoration those of you reading!
