    If having a management company that is responsive and solutions-focused (an endangered species these days) is important to you, then your search should end here! Everybody with whom I have interacted has been very friendly, and Debbiann has been particularly outstanding with making our move as seamless as possible.

    Sadly I will impart my experience with a Cole group property in Latham, NY. We have lived here for 3 years. Convenient location, attractive landscaping, nice efficient office mgr, responsive maintenance. My husband became disabled and my grandson, recent college grad, plans to move here for employment and assist me caring for his grandfather. I needed a 3 br, with walk in shower. Miraculously an apartment became available, I was pressed for over a week to decide, was given a price 6/21 2340 and verbally agreed. 3 days later was told apartment is being gutted and luxuriously upgraded, only 1 of 3 “upgraded” units in the entire complex- NEW quote 2890 (or 2980?). Supposedly manager neglected to inform office mgr./, leasing agent of rental due to updates so there was miscommunication. Possibly bait and switch, but nevertheless unethical company and shady. There is siding cracked on every building, blinds broken and askew, 4’ small pool, mediocre gym, hideous carport, balconies around pool replaced but those not publicly visible are rusted and need painting, sadly some sloppy tenants who don’t pick up dog poop. A blue collar/young start up complex, NOT luxury in any respect, but a middle class complex.
    The website for a 3 br still erroneously states 2200-2400. BEWARE. I offered to meet in the middle of the ridiculous up charge because I need the room for my husband to navigate w/walker and a walk in shower, and clearly moving w/a handicapped person will be difficult, but no negotiation was available. Renting month to month while looking to move :(
