Sam may be a good tech but hes also a scammer. I had two standing commercial freezers that needed to be repaired last year. I was having difficulty finding someone reliable that had good expertise on commercial standing units and i found them on google.
One freezer had a burnt part which was probably like $100 and it took him less than 30 minutes to swap out but he charged me $600 - which is fine.
However the other freezer i had wasn't cooling properly and he said it was missing a cover for the condenser which was why it wasn't cooling properly. I trusted him because he seemed friendly and he also answered some questions about freezers that I had. So he said he replaced the cover and it would cost $600
However a two weeks later the same problem appeared and although they give a two week warranty I didn't call them because i found out that he just put duct tape over the top instead of an actual cover. I had misplaced the cover at the time but I found it later on. This wasn't actually the problem as the freezer still didnt cool. Tried changing the temp sensor and that worked temporarily but the problem came back.
Luckly I found someone else that was honest and there was a coolant leak and they repaired it for $500 (which took around 2 hours with two people) and the freezer has been working properly ever since.
If your wondering why I spent so much money on repairing a freezer it is because it was a trauslen that wasn't very old.
A lot of these contractors on google have high reviews but google reviews more easily faked than reviews on yelp. I have also been scammed by roofing contractor for my home as I trusted google reviews.
Always check the work yourself and check multiple review sources.

A bunch of bs charges over $100 each - sam was only there for around an hour and a half total - why charge diagnostics that only take 5 minutes to do when you are hired to repair on the spot anyway
Sam is very knowledgeable and quick to respond.
I had a commercial refrigerator that was not keeping temp and freezing up.
Everyone else said to replace it, which is very expensive and has a long lead time.
Sam answered the phone right away, asked meaningful questions, walked me through some possible causes and made an appointment for me right away.
After he came by he figured out that it was just a simple fix and was in and out in less than an hour.
He upgraded the broken part to a better version and now the refrigerator keeps temp better than ever.
