Covington Funeral Home is a very caring and respectful funeral home. I am thankful that I was led to have my loved one memorial service in their care. The funeral home is professional, caring, and most of all respectful. For anyone who wants a funeral home that REALLY cares, I recommend Covington Funeral Home!

Orlando is a dear friend. He has helped me and my family for almost 10 years. I love how he and his staff are always on point and time when duty calls. He is able to do all things thru Christ that strengthens him. He will put your mind at ease.
I thank God for Orlando and his team.
    God Bless!

The new norm makes everything difficult. My mother went to glory on Oct 1st. She had been sick for a while and was given only a couple of weeks to live in February. Her wishes were clear and we planned a service that would be a true celebration. Well, due to the pandemic, the majority of her wishes could NOT be accomplished. Me living in FL, it was hard to imagine what service we could do with her home church being closed and most of her friends and sorority sisters being seniors.....how do we safely celebrate my mother's life. My funeral hostess Allison worked with us to have an appropriate, safe memorial service for my mom. Allison was great and so responsive. We didn't have much to do because of her organizational skills, her ability to explain everything in details and keeping us in the assigned budget. Her services included a casket that was a close replica of Aretha Franklin's one (one of mom's wishes), an assortment of beautiful flowers,(another), recorded eulogy, songs and prayers along with a professional photographer, releasing doves and monarch butterflies to symbolize freedom. It was a private with family only but to GOD be the glory it was celebration. Thanks Allison and others at Covington Funeral for NOT breaking the trust creating another perfect memory of my beloved mom.
