I WAS SO AMAZED HOW WELL THIS STORE WAS ORGANIZED, THE ITEMS WERE VERY EASY TO LOCATE, THE WORKER ARE SO VERY FRIENDLY AND EAGLE TO HELP. THIS DOLLAR GENERAL IS THE BEST I MUST SAY, MY EXPERIENCE ON 9/17/25 @ 10:28am WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD IN ANY DG!!!!!! LAURIE YOU ROCK AS WELL AS THE MANAGER, I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE THIS MY PERFERRED DOLLAR GENERAL STORE WITHOUT A DOUBT, I LOVE THIS STORE, THANKS YOU!!!!

I stopped by this Dollar General location around 10:05 PM, well before their posted closing time of 11:00 PM. While I and a few other customers were still shopping, half the store lights were abruptly turned off without any announcement or warning.

This made the shopping environment not only uncomfortable but also felt unsafe, especially considering how important visibility is when navigating store aisles or making purchasing decisions.

I understand staff may want to start closing procedures early, but cutting the lights while customers are still inside, well within business hours, is unprofessional and gives the impression that customers are not valued.

I hope management will reconsider how they handle closing time protocols for the sake of both customer experience and safety.

This is a very convenient store but I don't like the fact that they turned themselves into a grocery store and got rid of all of the other items that I used to love to buy there. i e. Clothing
The biggest thing that I don't like about this place is the self checkout. I feel if I use the self checkout I should get the employee discount. What I don't get is if you use the self-checkout, an employee will help you do it. If the employee can help you at the self-checkout why can't that employee just open a register and be the cashier???

Dollar General boasts friendly staff, a wide range of budget-friendly products, and, more recently, the convenience of self-checkout counters. Additionally, ample free parking is available for customers.

I just have to stay over yet I’m looking for the Scotch-Brite soap wand refills that do not have this ridiculous large hole in the middle you have just found what you have been waiting for and looking for for so long I know for myself even the ones I purchased on Amazon came and were different from the picture they clearly showed a double pack of wand refills with no hole & then when they arrived they were the newer version with the big ridiculous hole in the middle! Aargh! Finally, I was able to locate them, of all places, on Dollar General.com! I received a great deal, free shipping & I was even able to use a promo code so I was able to get 12 double packs (NO HOLE in the middle) for a song!!! What a great little company and their online service is awesome! They have a lot more to offer than you might think, online. I’m not saying that they’re as well stocked as many other very well-known chain stores, which I’m sure I can’t mention in my review but for a smaller chain store, they really do have some great little products that sometimes you can’t find anywhere else because they’re being purchased in such high quantities, by everyone all the time. Consequently, no one thinks to shop here. I believe that their online service & their online store is greatly underestimated!!!
