I usually pass by this park but never reviewed about it, the employees that work for the park do all they can to maintain the area but they can only do so much, I like the horse barn but it's closed and I think they should either reopen it and bring the horses back, it needs a big cleanup too, it's missing teamwork, should be kept classy, the park itself has some historical sense to it but it could do better, the restrooms need to be changed as well, it's not really safe so to speak, I honestly think the Dept of Public Works should try to step up and either keep it as a historical park with like sprinklers or something, something that attracts the people to the park and also to keep the park closed at night to prevent the hoodlums from hanging out, and maybe they should get an overnight security if the park goes through an extensive remodeling..
Located in the quiet historical Eastside Park neighborhood with stately homes. Recent renovations have improved its quality. Great for families. Nice playground equipment and tennis court, baseball fields.
Wonderful Jazz Festival held by ESNA 2.0. EVERYTHING neat, orderly and on time very well managed entry, parking and clean infield locationz
Great holiday experience. My son was extremely happy with the decorations and all the inflatables! Awesome vibes, thumbs up to Spider girl at the end of the tour \m/
Love this park. As a fan of landscape architecture, the stairs are a big attraction.
Definitely a good park to get some cool pictures of your car too.
When you're in this park, it feels like you are a world away from the challenged neighborhood nearby, which is absolutely wonderful.
That being said, it can feel like an opening scene of Law & Order as well, lol. So just be sure to keep that in mind.
