Washington Park is a peaceful, green urban oasis featuring walking paths, gardens, and recreational spaces. Ideal for relaxing, outdoor activities, and community gatherings.
Washington Park is located behind School #3 on Washington Avenue, Lincoln Avenue and Paulison Avenue. Access is only available from Washington Avenue ( to the ballfield) and Lincoln Avenue (to the playground and ballfield).
This is a large in terms of area park, taken up about 90% by a large softball field, and the rest comprised of a small fenced in playground in the far corner. The playground is minimalist in that it has a set of swings, a small jungle gym, a small climber, and a small basketball court.
During the summer in many years, this park will host a summer day camp, sponsored by the City of Clifton Parks and Recreation Department. It is quite well run, and very popular.
I went to school when It was suppose to be remote, i freaked out and rode my bike to this park to join my classes. Some how the school wifi reached my chromebook and i was able to join my first period class and ride home after. Nice park.
