I had an amazing experience at El mexicano! The decor and atmosphere really made this place stand out, also the amazing portions for the price. Not only was our food was delicious and authentic, but it came out fast and the service was exceptional. Will be back!

My family came here for a birthday and had a lovely experience. This Mexican restaurant is very casual and fun, covered with vibrant, colorful paintings and decor. There's no shortage of things to look at - every single inch is covered with something, which creates a lot of visual interest.

They serve massive portions at low prices, and we ended up taking lots of the food home. The food is very tasty, if a bit greasy (depends on the dish), and fully authentic. It makes things easier when ordering if you can speak a bit of Spanish, although you'll get by if not. Service was quick and it wasn't crowded when we went for dinner (granted, it was a week night). You'll definitely want to get a big booth, even if you're dining alone or as a pair - the plates are very big.

Overall, a great place to bring the kids or come with friends on a Saturday night. The music is festive but not too loud, and the staff are very friendly. We'll definitely be coming again!

Best spot so far! I sit down and eat every time! Also, the food is made fresh! I love the hibiscus drink and rice mille is soo good! You have to come try for yourself, bring your friends as well and have a great experience. Servers are also friendly and speak both English and Spanish!

Authentic Mexican fare. It was an incredibly delicious meal. We ordered Steak with shrimp in garlic, served with rice, beans, salad and avocado.(Carne Asada Con Camarones
Al Mojo De Ajo.) and Tacos De Birria
Con Su Consome (3). (Savory Mexican stewed beef tacos with consume.). It was fresh, just the right amount of spice, and delicious. The hibiscus drink and lemonade (fresh squeezed!) was huge and delicious. The atmosphere was fun, festive, busy and colorful. The kitchen was actively sending out meals super fast!! It was like being at A party for dinner! So delicious - I will definitely go back. Reasonably priced with attentive servers. A pleasant dinner experience.

This was our first visit to El Mexicano. It appeared to be a family owned business. The music was very loud, like we were at a child’s birthday party. The lighting was also very bright. It was not a cozy atmosphere for dining. We ordered various tacos and were not impressed. They were mediocre. I had the steak tacos and I found the steak to be dry and not seasoned. The waitress was friendly and nice. The restaurant appeared clean. We also noticed that main dishes that other tables ordered looked and smelled really good. On that basis, we decided that we will go back and give El Mexicano another try as we only tried the tacos.
