Don't trust a place running a ghost kitchen on delivery apps. On doordash you go by MacDaddy and you can't even be bothered to show what your food actually looks like; all of the pictures are ai generated. You can even see the meta ai watermark on some of them. Insulting to the intelligence of the public
Order a large order of bagels of different assortments (jelly, CC, butter, etc.). The bagels came preprepared with terrible portion sizes. None of the bagels were labeled so we had no idea what was what. We called the store and were told “that’s how we ordered them”. We then asked why they had not been labeled to where they did not answer our question nor apologize and proceeded to hang up
Ordered from via the “Egg Drop” restaurant and thought I was getting Korean style egg toast sandwiches but I just received a regular sandwich. The sandwich is good. French fries were advertised as shoestring but they are wedges & I received them as half crispy (the outside was crispy but inside was mushy). I also ordered tator tots and it was also the same as the fries. I look to order from them again as the sandwich was tasty but I think photos should reflect what the consumer will get.
This is my second time ordering from Queens Bagels. It’s unfortunate they are so far from where I live. The sandwiches are delicious. I normally order a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. In other delis, the bagels are hard to bite through when made a sandwich, but not here. Still soft and I can take a bite of the meat, egg and cheese. I took a chance and also ordered tater tots this time and a philly cheese steak. My suggestion for the tater tots is not to order it plain. Get a topping. On its own, it’s very bland. The philly cheese steak was missing the caramelized onions, which made it hard to enjoy the sandwich. Otherwise, it’s a long sandwich so order if you’ve got a big appetite. It is quite pricey ordering from here, but I like my bagel. Six items totaled to approximately $58. Of course, there are other delis that charge a lot less but it’s a nice splurge once in a while.
