Excel Urgent Care of Chester, NJ

I fell and sustained several large skin tears and hematomas on my right leg. I called ahead made an appointment, waited a very short time and thrn Tracey did the intake. Dr. Caitlin was phenomenal? She is an artist with skin wound healing. And such a lovely personality, professional and informative style.

The facility itself is beautiful, and the check in process with the front desk was very pleasant. Unfortunately, that’s where the pleasant experience ended. The MA immediately judged me based on the medication I’m taking and inserted her unsolicited opinion. The provider was nicer and took some time, but felt like we had to ask a million questions for basic things to be explained. 4 days of losing fluids via a stomach bug, I sought this urgent care for further diagnosis and management. As a healthcare provider myself, I am already aware of the basics of management, but was seeking a higher level of care (IV fluids and/or bloodwork) that this urgent care advertises they can provide right on the website. I wasn’t looking for a med spa, but I’m a mom of two young kids who need me and am 4 days into constant fluid loss. Was expecting more.

I highly recommend this Urgent Care facilty. The same doctor examined my son last year when he was ill. She is highly knowledgeable and has been consistently accurate in her diagnosis and treatment of his illnesses, both then and recently. Great staff as well.

They were so quick in taken care of me and very professional. The doctor was wonderful and she explained everything to me what I have and how to treat it. It was an awesome experience!!
