Been here in the past and it was fine. Had an appointment today at 10:10 and waited until 10:40 and then had to leave. What’s the point of having appointments if you don’t honor their time? This is NY - people are busy.

My appointment time was at 12:30 I got there at 12:37. I did not know I was required to fill out the paperwork before I arrive for the appointments, I was instructed to sit down in the waiting area and she would see if I was checked in already, after waiting nearly 45 minutes. I went back to the reception desk and asked her was I checked in already she first told me yes! And then told me I should complete the paperwork before being check in after now realizing I was waiting nearly 45 minutes. I was a little annoyed, because I felt that this could have been avoided very easily as I entered in for my appointment. I proceed to take my seat and waited patiently until I was called! But I must say I got a better response to the attending Physician that was assigned to me when I was called, than this particular receptionist that needed a little more customer service training at the front desk.

Yvann Huang is amazing. At 33 my skin looks better now than it did at 18 thanks to her. Most of the providers here are great.

My only word of caution is that the office managment isn’t great and feels profit driven. After 3 months they refuse to send out refills. And even if you’re due for refills, they make them super hard to get, no one answers on the refill line and it takes a really long time. So you end up being forced to come back in for an appointment so they can bill your insurance. But if your skin is stable, then there’s no medical justification for 4 exams per year to receive a script for face cream. My vascular surgeon gave me a years supply of blood thinners, I can get 6 months of Neurontin from pain management and a years worth of sleeping pills so….. I think they know most people go to the dermatologist a few times, get a diagnosis, find a cream that works and then never really have to go back. They just constantly request refills and go in as little as possible. But the office can’t bill anyone or profit off that. There’s no other logic for this 3 month rule.
