    A Godsend for Our Family!

As an educator with 23 years of experience, I’ve seen countless therapists and professionals in the field—and I can say without hesitation that Alondra and her team from Solutions to the Puzzle are the absolute best. They are truly sent from God. Her work with my son has been life-changing for our entire family.

Alondra brings creative, thoughtful, and individualized strategies to every session. What sets her apart is how natural and human her approach is—never rote, never robotic. She meets my son where he is, always honoring his personality, interests, and dignity. Therapy doesn’t feel clinical—it feels like home. And it works.

My son loves Alondra and her team. They’ve become like family to us. If you’re looking for ABA therapy that is compassionate, skilled, and genuinely effective, look no further than Solutions to the Puzzle. We are forever grateful.

Eternally grateful to Alondra and her center (Solutions to the Puzzle)...

In September 2019, my husband and I had our first baby in the Dominican Republic. His name is Max Alexix. Sadly, the pandemic hit six months after Max's arrival, forcing us to stay home with minimal exposure to the outside world.

Everything seemed to be going well with Max's development until his first birthday. From then on, I noticed certain behaviors that worried me, but at the time I didn't pay much attention to them. These included: little eye contact, not responding to his name, intolerance to food textures, and a complete lack of speech, among others.

Against the wishes of my mother and husband (who insisted that everything was fine with Max and that my worries were all in my head), I decided to seek help from a behavioral professional. Over the course of a year and a half, I visited three different psychologists, and they all agreed that Max was within normal parameters and that the behaviors that concerned me would disappear with time. Obviously, these answers didn't convince me at all.

At a meeting with my husband's colleagues, two friends, each of whom has a child on the autism spectrum, very respectfully mentioned that they noticed behaviors in Max that they had seen in their own children. I couldn't hold back my tears, because at that moment I knew that my suspicions might actually be true. I immediately began researching, looking for alternatives and solutions.

Thanks to my sister-in-law, who lives in New Jersey, who told me about Alondra and her experience in the field, I didn't hesitate for a second to make arrangements to travel from the Dominican Republic to NJ in search of a proper diagnosis for Max.

When I finally met with Alondra, Max was already 2 years and 7 months old. I felt a lot of trust in her from the first moment we met. We started with an interview where I shared all my concerns about my son's development, followed by a series of assessments. Finally, one of the most difficult moments of my life arrived when a professional confirmed that Max was indeed on the autism spectrum. Heartbroken, but grateful to have detected the situation early so we could help him as much as possible.

Our trip was relatively short, as we had to return to our country very soon. Back in the Dominican Republic, we completed the diagnostic process, where we performed all the relevant exams and tests, assisted by his neurologist and in consultation with Alondra. They concluded that Max's level of autism is moderate.

Max is currently 4 years old and receives ABA therapy from a certified therapist assisted by Alondra. In addition to this, he also receives occupational and speech therapy. We have seen remarkable progress, which we embrace and celebrate, even if it is small.

Early diagnosis definitely makes a huge difference to a child's future and progress within the spectrum. For this and many other reasons, we will be eternally grateful to Alondra and her center (Solutions to the Puzzle)... ❤️❤️❤️

Solutions to the Puzzle Behavioral Services was recommended to me by a friend and I could not be more grateful. Alondra was very welcoming and professional throughout the entirety of my nephew's evaluation. My nephew is nonverbal and could be shy around new people so I especially appreciated her patience (she even let him play with blocks so he could warm up to being in a new environment). Alondra's was able to answer all my questions and provide informative material. Together, we developed a "next steps" action plan; one that was personalized to support my nephew's needs without overwhelming my family.

Overall, great experience. 5/5 would definitely recommend this organization.
