This campground has some excellent amenities. Every family plot has its own water spot connection. The bathroom is a short walk but is well maintained, and has showers. The staff at the boat area were very pleasant and easy going. Lots of fun.
If you enjoy nature you will like here. Very peaceful and relaxing place. We camped here with our 40ft long fifth wheel, enjoyed bicycling around and it’s beautiful playground and clean restrooms with hot water showers, really nice laundry using PayRange to pay. Big rig friendly with most of pull through sites, a lot of tree and not so wide roads but if you drive through B,C and D loop should be no problems. I would recommend a good homework if need dump before leave, we didn’t use it because we were in C loop and it’s hard for us to access it. For big rig try to get site D7 or D6 which are the most spacious among all in B, C and D loops.
Turkey swamp campground are super clean, restrooms are clean, bathroom has hot water shower. Definitely recommend this place.
There's something for everyone at Turkey Swamp Campgrounds. We have our Airstream, there are bigger campers here, tents and a few cabins to rent. The Rangers are kind and helpful. They patrol regularly so it's safe too. It's just pure, outdoor fun!
For a County park this campground is really nice. Check in was easy, rangers were helpful and friendly. Sites are all pull-through and well spaced. Sites are also big, ours had enough room for our truck, 30' camper and SUV, and probably could have fit another car. Nice big clear and shaded area for outdoor relaxing, fire ring, tents, etc. As others have said the water connection is between sites so bring 30 plus feet of hose, 50' to be safe. Turns within the campground could be tough for really long rigs. Only complaint is that the dump station is in the middle of the campground near the bath house which is weird, not exactly convenient to pass by while leaving. I highly recommend camping here.
