A great experience with Floors By The Shore. Another five stars for them. Adam, Jose, and the team are great to work with. The installers, Jay and Enrique, really made the effort to make sure the floors were even and the base was correct before the final top wood was put down. This is really a first-rate job. The great reviews here are real — these guys really know what they’re doing.

We were recommended to Floors by the Shore by our contractor for our new home construction . When we met with Adam, it was clear he was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to educate us on the various flooring options. He and his team truly care about the quality of their product from start to finish. He helped us choose right wood for our home, ensured installation was done right and came back to provide
guidance on cleaning and maintenance. We are thrilled with our flooring. It is truly beautiful and has enhanced the beauty of our home. Adam and his team are true professionals.

Floors by the Shore exceeded our expectations right from the start. My husband and I were recommended by our contractor,and Adam certainly did not disappoint. He was professional, knowledgeable, and down to earth. We enjoyed learning more about the flooring processes and the different kinds of wood we had an opportunity to procure for our master bedroom. We chose a herringbone rift and quartered because it not only looks beautiful but withstands time provided it's cared for the correct way.

Our floor was carpeted, and once removed, Joe made sure the floor was level before flooring could be installed. Joe and Carlos worked tirelessly to ensure a stellar finished result. From the leveling to the stainng process, Joe and Carlos should be commended for their outstanding work ethic.

100% earned their 5 star rating! Talked to Adam about refinishing the floors in our kitchen and dining room. There were a few "soft" areas of the floor that I wanted them to firm up as well. Being a 100+ year old house, they found the subfloor was in worse shape than expected and the joists not close to being level and flat. To keep this short, a new plan was devised in which the sub floor would be ripped up, sister joists added to level the floor, new plywood sub floor and finally use reclaimed flooring he sourced so it would match the rest of the house. We also expanded the job to include the entire first floor.
This was a big job, but every step of the way they were striving for highest quality results. They took the time to cover all of the cabinets with plastic. Block off the second floor staircase. Even cover everything in the basement with plastic to keep that clean.
As you can see by the picture, the end result is a beautiful, solid and level floor.
I can't say enough about what a great team Adam has there, they are true craftsmen and exceeded all of our expectations.

Adam and his team did an INCREDIBLE job refinishing my hardwood floors. These prefinished mahogany floors were installed 10+ years ago from another flooring company & I hated them from the day they were installed. They were very red & not the color I expected from the sample I was shown. The floors were also beveled & shiny, so they collected dirt & showed every spec of dust & every scratch. Adam assured me he could make them lighter with a matte finish & also take away the bevel. His team worked for several days and the outcome is simply amazing.
