Forked River Diner

We greatly enjoyed our breakfast. The food was very good and I particularly loved the pancakes. Food came out quickly and hot. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We definitely will be going back.

Had Biscuits and gravy. Service was awesome.

Keep in mind, this is cash only. ATM is inside if you don't have cash. Don't let this prevent you from going in, you will enjoy a home cooked meal.

Frozen in time, but in the best way!!! The Forked River Diner has always been a staple for my family, but I recently started going back here after craving a good veggie omlette (and a side of turkey bacon😉). We were not disappointed!! Whether it’s lunch or breakfast everything is always perfect…it truly has become a weekend staple for us. Love love love this place!

What a cool throwback diner!
Very clean and well maintained.
Food was delicious. My sandwich had a good >1/4 of Taylor ham (couldn't finish it). Chunky monkey pancakes (chocolate chip and banana) were sweet and delectable, even without syrup (but they do give you syrup, so don't worry).
Well come back for sure.

Open early retro NJ diner. The atmosphere looks like what you want to experience going to a roadside diner. Stainless steel exterior and retro counter and both chairs but all are in excellent condition. The diner is clean and tables and floors spotless.
I went early for breakfast and was able to get their deluxe breakfast for $9. It was two eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage links and 2 pancakes. It was fall so I opted for the Pumpkin Pancakes and coffee to drink, of course.
At 6am there were a few locals at the counter quietly eating and talking to the waitress.
The eggs looked perfect and tasted as good as they look in this picture. Presentation was good amd the food was served quick.
The food was very good. I will be back for sure as their menu looked extensive for lunch and dinner and I will have to give some more items a try.
Thet said, I left a piece of toast and half the pancakes as I was full.
