Went for a discovery flight and loved every second. Currently in flight school with Gene, he is the best instructor and it’s always a good time during lessons. The staff are great and the environment around the airport is always nice!
I purchased a discovery flight as a gift. The experience from start to finish was great. Barbara was very responsive and knowledgeable and made the entire process from purchasing to scheduling easy and quick. This is a great place. One of the hangars hosts the Teen Aviation of NJ program, which has been incredible for our child. They've gained real hands on skills, built confidence, and worked closely with experienced aviation pros to construct an RV-12 from the ground up.
The airfield itself is well maintained, active, and clearly supportive of community focused programs like this. I’d highly recommend checking it out, especially if you have a teen interested in aviation or engineering
Fantastic operation they have here. I did a rental checkout with Don yesterday and he was a great pilot to fly with and a great instructor. He was extremely thorough in giving me local knowledge of the airport and didn't just look at my homework I provided for the checkout. He examined it well and made sure I knew what I was doing. Barbara has also been extremely helpful and extremely friendly throughout my process to become a member. I'm very much looking forward to renting aircraft from here.
The aircraft I flew for the checkout, a 172P, has been maintained very well, and despite even more than usual right turning tendencies, was a great plane to fly. Up to date avionics and equipped with ADS-B.
