I'm really torn here. New name, new ownership, new experience. And not necessarily a great one.
I was a HUGE fan of the previous establishment and walking in it appeared to be the same place. Literally nothing inside changed. Same bar, same tables, same faded ads on the wall. Even the cracked, busted sink remains in the men's room.
The service was disappointing. One poor guy working the bar, bussing tables, taking orders, serving food, working the register... His attitude sucked, and who could blame him?
The menu was a crimpled up piece of paper with few options, and was incomplete at that. The beer menu had far fewer options than I remember in the old place and was on the same dirty, crimpled paper as the food menu. The plates had old food still on them. Essentially I wasnt impressed with the service or presentation.
It wasn't all bad tho. Their wing choices were plentiful tho poorly described. But the wings were a good size and quite good. So it's still a good wing place. And I had a Garage Beer. Highly recommend. Tho there was no lacing on the beer glass which indicates it wasnt cleaned properly. Gross!!!
Lots of not-so-great changes. Uninspired menu, dirty glasses, service with an attitude. Will I come back and give them another chance? Im a sentimental guy so I probably will. But I don't have any confidence that it'll get any better.
I wish them luck tho.
Wings are delicious, staff is extremely friendly and the environment is very welcoming. This is our new family go to place for the wing special on Sundays. Their prices are very reasonable as well! So glad we found this place and we will definitely be coming back for sure.
Came in for a quick bite on a Sunday…no eagles game so it wasn’t packed…food was good…got a cheesesteak and 10 wings (sweet thai chili)…wings are decent size so didn’t go wrong there…ate a couple before I took a picture
Think there was a miscommunication between me and the bartender though…I thought I was getting 50 cent wings and eating in because that was the special but my order came out as a take out order so instead of getting another beer I just paid full price for wings and took my food home after finishing my initial beer lol not a big deal
The food was great. We ordered 10 wings and the smash burger. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are a good size. It’s a nice little spot. We’ll definitely be back.
First off, if you are reading this review because you’re wondering if you should go here, then yes. Yes you should. The food prices AND portions are unbeatable. Tasty, cooked perfectly, and well seasoned. For our first time there, we tried four different dishes, and they all were amazing. The owners are very kind people, and the service was great. They are truly building this place back to its greatness.
