Gingham Giraffe Preschool & Kindergarten

Gingham Giraffe helped my daughter grow into the confident, independent, and kindergarten-ready girl she is now. Having teachers who have been there for decades is incredible, as it is clear how well they understand the developmental needs of preschoolers. We are so grateful for our experience there!

We are SO happy we chose Gingham Giraffe for our son! Our neighbors also sent their kids here and raved about it as well. For some context, our son (joined at age 3) never had any prior daycare/school experience and they did such a great job at making him feel comfortable and supported. He adjusted so well and is thriving! We are so impressed with everything they’re teaching him, from life skills like putting on jackets in the winter to STEAM learning — it’s all been wonderful. We truly love all the teachers and couldn’t be more grateful for such involved directors like Alison and Gail who have been there for us regarding any concern we’ve had. Our second son is in daycare now, but the minute he turns 2 we’re placing him at Gingham because we just know it’s the best choice. The curbside drop off is also a huge plus and they’re just all around good, kind, competent, and emotionally intelligent people. This is the village we hoped for. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Gingham Giraffe is a wonderful preschool and now has a full day Kindergarten program. We are so impressed with the program, teachers and curriculum. Our children are receiving a well-rounded school experience.

My 2 boys currently go to Gingham Giraffe, and between the 2 of them, our family has experienced the 2s, 3s, 4s, and JK programs.

The 2s and 3s classes were both amazing beginnings for each of my boys - the teachers were genuinely warm, loving, and caring and communicated frequently about how they each are/were adjusting to their first experiences in school. The 4s class was a wonderful balance of play and introducing academics to my older son.

My older son is now currently in JK, a decision that the directors helped me make (rather than sending him to Kindergarten in the fall) and I am so impressed with the program and happy with my decision to keep him at Gingham for one more year. The teachers communicate daily about things they are working on, from letters to numbers to learning about different holidays, animals, science experiments, etc. - TRUE preparation for Kindergarten! He brings home everything that he works on at school so that we are able to see how he is doing, things he needs to work on, and what he is learning. I see a tremendous change in him in just 3 months, and he is so proud of himself as he learns to do new things!

You will not find anyone more kindhearted, knowledgeable, and experienced than the teachers and directors at Gingham Giraffe. Knowing that my children are in such wonderful hands every day, and that they are happy and thriving at school, is every parent's dream. Thank you, Gingham!

We have so many positive things to say about the Gingham Giraffe Preschool and highly recommend the school to all we meet. We have been a part of the GG community since October 2020, and we have been so happy with the teachers, staff, and wonderful friends that all three of our children have made while at Gingham Giraffe. Their dedication to creating a nurturing environment where all children can flourish has been immensely beneficial to the development of our children.
