Sew Dandelions

I took the adult beginner two-hour course and had a wonderful experience. Dominique was an excellent teacher, funny, patient, and very helpful. I walked in with no experience at all, but she showed me how to use my grandmother’s sewing machine, which I really appreciated. She explained how the machine works, helped me start stitching, and taught me how to make a small pouch while practicing straight lines. The class went by quickly, the parking was easy, and the space was great. I definitely recommend!

Began adult studio with Dominique and am very pleased. She is knowledgeable and helpful. We just completed an 18th century men’s waistcoat.

I bought 3 lessons from Dominique as a beginner adult who just wanted to learn the basics. I was beyond impressed with her skill, attention to detail and professionalism. I learned so much from her and am excited to buy my own machine and get to work on some projects. Sewing is an invaluable skill well worth the price of learning from Dominique!

The easy parking and bright space were the first 2 great impressions of Sew Dandelions. Then I was greeted by Dominique whose very calm and kind demeanor made me less anxious about started this entirely new skill. The 2 Prerequisite to Sewing classes went well, and I'm psyched to continue my new hobby :)

I can’t say enough positive things about my son’s experience at Sew Dandelion’s. Dominique is a truly wonderful teacher—she not only nurtures her students’ artistic abilities but also connects with them on an emotional level. The summer camp she organized was exceptional, thoughtfully designed to teach children how to sew while encouraging creativity, collaboration, and self-expression. My son came home inspired each day, proud of what he created and excited to return. We’re so grateful for this experience and can’t wait to be part of more Sew Dandelion programs in the future!
