Learning Lane at the Berkeley Heights YMCA

Our kid looks forward to attending every day, and that speaks volumes she feels safe, it's fun, and she is challenged. Love the integrated sport programming too!

If there was an apt title or imagery to describe the education program at the BH YMCA, it would be "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood!" Our children have been attending their program for over 2 years now and we couldn't be happier. It is a safe, fun, educational, inclusive, culturally sensitive, always vibrant and developmentally (emotionally, physically and mentally) excellent environment for early childhood education. Whether it's preschool or aftercare, we can always feel at ease knowing that our kids are getting the most out of their time and, as parents, we are getting the most out of our money by sending them here. The executive staff, teachers and assistant teachers are always there to hear our parental concerns, accommodate our requests and make recommendations that will address our kids' specific needs-- whatever they may be. Often times, it feels as though each student gets one on one care. Our kids have been going to their summer camps (which are great) and participate in numerous enrichment (extra-curricular) classes that they offer all right on-site. Their network to the BH public schools definitely makes it easy for us to manage their aftercare schedule as well. We would go on, but you're here to read a review not a story. All in all, Learning Lane at BH YMCA is a fantastic place for your young ones to learn, grow and thrive! This is an honest, unsolicited review from 2 very satisfied customers/parents.

I love the convenience of this program and how easy it was to enroll my child. My child loves being there, and they have so many activities for them. I work full time so having the flexibility of a later pick up is very helpful!
