I had THE best day at the farm. Donna was so nice and friendly and showed me and my friend around the whole farm. We got to meet all the animals. I can't choose a favorite. They are all precious. From ben the sheep (!!!), the three horses, two goats, 4 (?) pigs, chickens, alllll the ducks, the sweet sweet turkey, the one-eared cat, and Donna's dog Rain who immediately ran up and greeted my friend and I upon our arrival. I want to go back! I want to work there! Haha :)
Oh and most importantly, you can tell everyone is very well-cared for and happy. Heartwarming experience.
So we visit this wonderful animal santuary today, and had a great time. We were greeted by Donna, and soon met our other two tour guides, Ben and Elijah. Note…Ben is a sheep and Elijah a Turkey. As Donna showed us around Ben and Elijah followed. They were great hosts and made us feel very welcomed. We truly fell in love with all the animals and you can tell they are well taken cared of, and loved. We met 2 delightful piggies and chickens. The 3 horses were lovely, and we loved the duck pond. Donna was a great host and we loved hearing her story. I highly recommend visiting. We spent about 2 hours and enjoyed every minute.
Had a wonderful time at their Grayrock and Roll event. What a beautiful and peaceful piece of property. Met lots of wonderful, happy animals. Can't wait to go again this fall!
What a beautiful place! 10 acres of land where farm animals can roam naturally. The pigs are so happy, they wag their tails like dogs!! It got me all choked up to see these beautiful animals, so free, and so peaceful; as it should be! #govegan
Grayrock Farm Sanctuary is a hidden gem! Donna and her family have taken this farm and in a few short years turned it into an incredible farm sanctuary. They have taken in so many animals, some are blind, some have other issues and given them a loving and comfortable home. They are an important part of our community, we need more people like this in todays world! My 2 year old son loves to visit to feed the animals and play in the play areas. You can reach out to her on Facebook to schedule a visit.
