I maintain many gravesites at Pequest Union; many are located in the old section of the cemetery. Pequest Union has always been beautifully maintained. It is the best In this area of New Jersey. I have noticed that the grass has not been cut the way it has always been cut ...it is hit or miss. Also the tall grass and weeds around and in between the stones are not being trimmed the way they were . Grass and weeds grow very fast in this area and in no time turn into a real mess.. The newer section is in much better condition. Hopefully these conditions will change and we will go back to the old standards...which is 5 star. Judy Kenny Lyons
My friend, Ruth, has her final resting Place at Pequest Cemetery. I often visit, and have always experienced a serene and beautifully maintained environment throughout all the seasons. It is a place of comfort and natural beauty that enhances my experience of remembrance and affection for my friend.
I have visited the cemetery often and have found it to be a well maintained, peaceful, place on a beautiful piece of property.
Most of my faimly and loved one's are buried here for a number of generations. It is a lovely, well kept cemetery with beatiful grounds. It has a peaceful feeling that I have never found any place else.
This cemetery is one of the most beautiful cemetery's i have ever visited . It is overlooking the Pequest River Valley and scenic country side. It is well keep and maintained all year round.
