I wasn't disappointed. The trails seemed well maintained and very easy to follow. The upper area at the beginning is very handicapped friendly, but then the trail gets a bit rough. Plus there's a lot of stairs. Not a bad thing, just an observation. I imagine it would be a good place to take the family. The restrooms are still open for the moment but could be cleaner. It was still nice to have on site.
Awesome trails with 3 different waterfalls. Not too much water while I was the, Oct 2 2025, but enough to still have moderate waterfalls. Wear comfortable shoes.
Lovely park with easy access to several levels of the waterfalls. From the parking lot to the first level it is wheelchair accessible. Has two bathrooms and posts around the park telling about the history from Pres. Roosevelt's era.
Finally got to visit again after it was closed for a long time. It is a very easy Scenic Trail with waterfalls and stone structures reaching from the 1800s. Early paths are paved but all of the paths are easily navigated by foot. Not wheelchair accessible though and no restrooms beyond the beginning. Its short but beautiful.
Beautiful park! We went here with our kids and absolutely loved it. Water features are my favorite part of a hike, and this park follows the waterfall and stream the entire way. The overlooks give such a great view. There are a few different falls and as you hike the wooden pathway, you see them from the top AND the base. There is a small section of the trail that is handicap accessible and that part is also great if you have young children that need a stroller. The more interesting section has many stairs though. They are not super steep, but it is still a bit of a challenge for young toddlers. There are a bunch of wooden bridges that were fun. The entire trail is not very long - maybe less than 2 miles? I can't wait to see it in the Fall.
