Pond for seasonal fishing. Great & unique playground equipment. Our two boys 3 & 6 loved it!!
Great for the kids. Lifeguards on duty. Lake was very, very dirty. My kids swim suits were never the same. Beach itself is very clean. Plenty of picnic tables.
Finally we found a clean and well maintained park. There is plenty of grass and sand at the swimming area. Lifeguards are alerr and the lake water clean with graded depths cordoned off for beginner and advanced swimming levels. An adjacent childrens play park is perfect for families, and the picnic tables and clean indoor restrooms make this a winning combination however you must be a Pennsylvania resident to enter. No charge to enter or park at Akenac park.
Absolutely beautiful! Lake is clean. The park looks spotless. Wonderful playground. Staff is very nice.
Very beautiful and well maintained. Nice bathrooms w air conditioning. Beach, boat decks, nice playground and seats. Only thing is wish there was covered gazebos near playground for parents to watch kiddos play. It’s so beautiful though it’s a destination park. Need to be pike county resident to Get in or there is a fee
