Lake View Deli is one of those rare gems that feels like home the moment you walk in. The food alone would earn five stars — hearty sandwiches stacked high, soups that taste like they came straight from a family kitchen, and baked goods that disappear way too fast — but it’s the owners who make the place unforgettable.

They greet everyone like old friends, remember your favorite order, and somehow manage to keep the place spotless and running smoothly while still finding time to chat and laugh with customers. You can tell they care about every detail, from the freshness of the ingredients to the warmth of the atmosphere.

It’s not just a deli — it’s the kind of spot that anchors a community. The owners have built something special at Lake View Deli, and it shows in every bite and every smile you see inside.

Place has great food. The only disappointment for me was the egg sandwich had 1 egg. Always 2 eggs, without it, too much bread. They charge enough for 2 eggs not to be an issue.

So there I was just driving and it hit me like a truck. I needed a Taylor ham egg and cheese, but where to get it. There was truly only one answer Lakeview Deli in Dingmans Ferry. I pulled in right away and saw Michelle the best darn breakfast sandwich maker this side of world. She had it ready in a flash. The best darn breakfast sandwich I’ve had thanks to Michelle.

I have to sat the other day I tried their chicken noodle soup & it's AMAZING. Definitely HOME MADE, & they don't give you just the nasty leftover shreds of chicken. This is LOADED with fresh chicken. I'll be honest, if I had to critique it at all, I would say there's NOT enough macaroni! No one ever complains about that, lol (and I LOVE carrots, so the more of that, the better too), but as far as flavor, consistency, you CAN NOT beat it. We also tried their Italian Combo heroes. DELISH! Bread wad fresh, cold cuts fresh & was made perfectly! And if I didn't say it in my original review, the employees there are ALWAYS as nice as can be!

I started coming to this deli about 15 years ago. Different owners then I believe BUT same great chocolate brownies I had to bring home to my daughter EVERY WEEKEND when I left PA to go back to LI. I would always order one of their awesome heros. Now my husband & I have moved back to PA permanently & we are HOOKED on their roast beef hero! Nice rare roast beef, tasty & fresh! I love mine with just extra mayo & salt & pepper. My husband loves the Roast Beef Delight! The team behind the deli counter are TOP SHELF hard workers who make this deli as popular as it is. THANK YOU to the counter ppl! The stores cold cuts are always fresh, their hot foods are delicious! They have a small selection of vegetables that are always fresh & the owners are nice people!

I think me & my husband will be calling down to Lakeview at least 2x a week for our favorite sandwiches from now on!!! It's worth the ride down the mountain!!

The only thing i wish is that they made a tuna salad without celery! Their tuna is delish!!!!
